In the "Missunderstood" music video editing project, we embraced the concept of freestyle rap, showcasing the freedom of expression in music. Our focus was on employing impressive editing techniques, particularly utilizing object masking and duplicating the artist's object with unique visual effects.
Color grading played a vital role in establishing a distinctive atmosphere. We used a special brown color grading to evoke a warm ambiance and accentuate the emotional elements of the rap hip hop genre.
The transitions we employed included bump transitions, which provided sharp and energetic shifts between scenes. We also utilized SPEED RAMP techniques as a foundation to create noticeable speed changes, amplifying the power and intensity of the showcased freestyle rap.
